Sacrament of Reconciliation
Children enrolled in our sacrament program prepare for Reconciliation and then First Eucharist. All sacrament events are held at Prince of Peace. Parents are involved in a variety of ways. Our parish partners with parents to enhance the spiritual formation of your child and family.
Reconciliation Requirements:
1) Parents must complete and return a Sacrament Registration form to Holly Champoux at hchampoux@princeofpeacenm.org
2) Parents must provide a Certified Baptismal Certificate or specify when your Child’s Baptism was held at Prince of Peace Parish
3) Your child must be enrolled and attend a CGS Level II atrium session on a weekly basis
4) Parent and child must complete Together in Jesus First Reconciliation lessons
5) One parent must accompany their child to the Sacrament Retreat
Sacrament of First Eucharist
Children enrolled in our sacrament program prepare for Reconciliation and then First Eucharist. All sacrament events are held at Prince of Peace. Parents are involved in a variety of ways. Our parish partners with parents to enhance the spiritual formation of your child and family.
First Eucharist Requirements:
1) Your child continues to attend a CGS Level II atrium session on a weekly basis
2) Prince of Peace must receive a Certified copy of the child’s Baptismal Certificate
3) Parents must ensure your child received the Sacrament of Reconciliation
4) Parent and child complete Together in Jesus First Eucharist lessons.
5) Parents and child attends Eucharist retreat.
