Confirmation deepens our baptismal life that calls us to be missionary witnesses of Jesus Christ in our families, neighborhoods, society, and the world.
The Majority of the Confirmation Candidates formation will happen in our Youth Discipleship groups.
Our Confirmation Curriculum is a mixture of:
- Chosen: Your Journey to Confirmation – Ascension Press
- Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Materials
- YDisciple Studies – NET Ministries
Supplemental Materials will be selected and implemented based off of observation of the needs of the students
Confirmation preparation begins in 7th grade. Teens participate in a Middle School/Confirmation Discipleship group throughout 7th and 8th grade and receive the Sacrament of Confirmation in the spring of 8th grade.
If you have a in 8th grade or in High School student who has not received the Sacrament of Confirmation yet, please let me know and we’ll discuss options for your teen!
